![]() ![]() The only real issue that I have come across has been using the Wouxon with my Pyramid power supply (cigarette lighter). The Wouxon has two power levels, while the TyT has 4. Testing transmissions on both radios results in excellent transmissions provided by receiving stations. The buttons on the Wouxon radio glow and are bigger than the TyT buttons on the radio, but they both light up the buttons on the microphone. The Wouxon is Longer, but they are about the same width and height. The Wouxon can receive FM radio, but not the TyT. The Wouxon has two built in speakers while the TyT only has one. It comes with it's own proprietary programming software. It works well, but if you've used CHIRP, you will prefer CHIRP. I found the specific programming software application and downloaded it. Others have had better results, but I did read that while some models do work with CHIRP, that is not a guarantee, which is why I think they provide their own programming application. TyT claims that CHIRP can be used, but on my model it erred out the radio. Programming: Both have their own programming software. I will start by saying that they are both excellent mobile quad band stations. I have recently acquired both models listed above. ![]()
